“It’s moo love” – the Tinder for cattle that’s setting cows up with their ideal bull

Yes, this is a real app.

UK farming start-up Hectare Agritech has launched a “Tinder-style” app called Tudder that lets farmers find breeding matches by viewing pictures of cattle with important details like their age, location and health information.

Farmers who “swipe right” on a lucky cow can then contact the owner through Hectare’s buying site SellMyLivestock for more details, speeding up the often-lengthy process involved with transporting animals over long distances.

Hectare CEO Doug Bairner says they already have listings from 42,000 farms and have raised more than £3 million from investors – including tennis legend Andy Murray.

Looks like this app will be playing the role of moo-pid for a while longer.
