Best job ever? Sydney beer company advertises for world’s first ‘Chief Clock Off Officer’’

0

No, really. Sydney Beer Co. are recruiting for a “dynamic afternoon person” to lead their campaign to get more locals on what they’ve dubbed ‘Sydney Time’ – leaving work earlier to crack a cold one with friends.

“Are you an avid bar and beer selfie poster? Are you more likely to know where to meet for a beer, than where your next work meeting is? Do you specialise in time away from your desk, enjoying the very best that Sydney has to offer?” the ad says.

“If the answer is a big fat YES to these questions, we want YOU!”

It’s not all fun and games though. The right candidate will have some serious responsibilities including:

  • Venue Relationship Management (VRM) – visiting as many of Sydney’s iconic pubs as possible each week (tick)
  • AWE – Absolute Worker Enjoyment (AWE) – encourage people to leave work early to enjoy a cold beer (double tick)
  • Help businesses promote and activate ‘Sydney Time’ with their staff (seriously, where can we sign up?)

So, if you’re highly self-motivated – or just motivated by free beer – get your CV in here.
