Residents at RSL LifeCare’s 24 aged care homes and 22 retirement villages have organised hundreds of packages for the Australian Defence Force’s ‘Support our Troops’ campaign for Anzac Day this week.

The packages are designed to remind the troops of home and include treats such as Vegemite, Nutella, coffee satchels, chips, biscuits, lollies, chewing gum, mints, Tim Tams and more.

Residents also added personal messages of thanks, photos and handmade keepsakes as a special touch.

RSL LifeCare staff and residents’ families were also invited to donate to the boxes, which were shipped out early this month to ensure they arrived in time.

A wonderful way to acknowledge the valuable contribution of our armed forces.
