Known as the ‘Songaminute man’, Teddy Mac became a social media sensation last year after his son posted a ‘Carpool Karaoke’-style video of them singing together.

Now the former entertainer from Blackburn in the UK has released his debut album.

Crowdfunded by a campaign run by his family, it includes renditions of thirteen classic songs including Nat King Cole’s ‘L.O.V.E’, ‘I’ve Got You Under My Skin’ and Teddy’s original hit ‘Quando Quando Quando’.

“The tracks are based on Dad’s backing tracks he used to sing back in the day which provided the soundtrack to my life growing up … Essentially, this album is about love, which at the end of the day is the only thing that matters,” son Simon says.

25 per cent of the album’s profits will also go to the Alzheimer’s Society to fund research into dementia. You can find the album here or available for download on iTunes, Amazon and Google Play.
