Posted to US site Upworthy’s Facebook page, the clip shows American man Rob Scheer sharing his story about growing up in foster care – including keeping his belongings in a garbage bag.

But there is an upside – Rob and his family now run a foundation, Comfort Cases, which provides backpacks filled with essentials as well as toys and books for kids in the foster system.
