NSW seniors can now take advantage of a 50% discount on adoption fees for senior pets at RSPCA NSW shelters.
This is just one of the new offers available to NSW Seniors Card and Seniors Savers Card holders, who will also be able to access cheaper groceries and discounted mobile plans.
“Whether it’s a devoted dog or a cuddly cat, our furry friends improve health and wellbeing by reducing the feelings of social isolation and loneliness often experienced by seniors,” said NSW Acting Minister for Seniors Geoff Lee.
“This new partnership with RSPCA NSW is a great deal for seniors as well as providing a loving home for an older animal.”
The discount applies to senior pets, classified as an animal being eight years or older.
